FAQ

How do I get in touch?

Via the contact form or email at aggiemendieta@proton.me with a brief overview of your circumstances. If you’re not sure what support would be best for you, don’t hesitate to get in touch – we can explore your options together.

What happens after I’ve been in touch?

I’ll respond as soon as possible. If I can support you, we’ll arrange a complimentary 20-minute video call to discuss your needs and see if we’re a good fit.

What happens in the first session?

The first full session lasts 50 minutes. During this session, we explore your current circumstances and discuss your goals.

Are sessions online or face-to-face?

Sessions can be online or in person at my clinic in Chippenham.

How long are sessions and how often will we meet?

Sessions are 50 minutes long. Therapy sessions can be weekly or fortnightly whereas coaching sessions can take place less frequently if preferred.

What happens if I can’t make a session?

Please contact me to cancel as soon as possible. No fees apply for cancellations made 48 hours in advance; later cancellations incur the full session fee.

Are sessions confidential?

All client information is confidential unless there is a risk to you or someone else, in which case I aim to discuss the next steps with you first whenever possible.

How long do I need therapy for?

It varies – some people see me for a few sessions to work on a specific issue, while others prefer longer term support. We’ll review your progress regularly so you feel confident about the direction we’re taking

What is the difference between coaching and therapy?

Coaching is goal focused, time limited, and practical. Therapy explores difficulties in depth, addressing underlying causes and improving overall emotional wellbeing.
